A Certificate III Electrician course covers many of the practical concepts that students may encounter in the electrical industry. From reading technical drawings to selecting cables, installing wiring and troubleshooting low-voltage circuits, the qualification provides a broad learning experience. Safety is also integrated into the course through units covering WHS risks, electrical isolation and emergency procedures. AITE’s current UEE30820 structure contains 29 units, giving students exposure to a variety of electrical applications.
